NMS

Network Monitoring System is a complex monitoring system for TV Station or Data Center. It reads sensors, actuators and other instrumentation devices, converted into readable format and show it in BI Dashboard which suitable & fits to customer needs.
Remote Monitoring System (RMS) is required to monitor all Transmission sites remotely. This RMS then displayed into NMS Application.

NMS Management Platform

The enterprise software platform to collect, do analytics and show on dashboard. Able to gather all sensors information from each BTS Sites/BSCs/RNCs/MSS or Data Center.

Communication

To transfer all data from the Remote Sites to Platform Servers. It can use any Communications media, such as Cellular (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, NBIoT), LPWAN (LoRa, Sigfox, 6LPWAN), Satellite (VSAT, BGAN, SatModem), Normal Network (VPN, MetroE, MPLS, DWDM)

EDGE Computing

Local server to manage decision making at remote sites accord- ing to pre-defined scenario. Server does data analytic, store it, execute it according to scenario, report it to NMS Platform.

Any sensor to be installed to monitor the performance of each BTS, Sites, Data Center Network Elements. Usually divided into 3 big categories: ENVIRONMENT, FACILITY and EQUIPMENT

What is NMS 4000?

Network Monitoring System 4000 (NMS-4000) is the latest version of the NMS Squash Platform, NMS 4000 is a system for monitoring RMS (Remote Monitoring System) which are installed in customer location that collect any information through IOT sensor, actuators and other instrumentation devices in the monitored premises.

High Availability and Seamless Connectivity

NMS 4000 can be connected to as many as possible RMS devices, dependent on NMS Platform scalibility (Basic, Advanced and Enterprise). Communication between NMS 4000 and RMS can use any available media (Cellular, LPWAN, Satellite, Ethernet Network). Software loading and operation is faster because the application has been made with the Micro services methodology, so that many processes are run in parallel and do not interfere with other processes.

EQUIPMENT

TX/Transmitter

This equipment is the heart of a TV station to deliver content to the viewers. Monitoring the transmitter continuously is a must to maintain reception quality and data requirements for corrective and preventive maintenance.

Satellite Receiver

This equipment is important for TV station because it functions as a content source. Monitoring the status of this equipment, including signal received and signal margin will provide benefits for TV stationfor both corrective and preventive purposes

Demodulator

This equipment is a feedback tool to determine the broadcast quality, both video bit rate, MER, and other parameters. Monitoring these parameters continuously will be able to analyze whether corrective/preventive maintenance needs to be done to maintain the content quality, as well as become evidence for customers.

Feeder Antenna

A good transmitter must be supported by a good antenna system. Monitoring forward/reflected power, return loss or SWR is also mandatory for more preventive maintenance before something that will disrupt broadcast continuity happens.

Satellite Receiver

Analog TV and Digital TV use tools with the same brand in monitoring satellite receivers, but there are different types of receivers on Digital TV and Analog TV, where Analog TV uses an MPEG 2 receiver which means it can only receive broadcasts with SD resolution MPEG4 format only, while Digital The TV uses an MPEG 4 HD receiver that can receive broadcasts in MPEG2, MPEG4 formats, SD and HD resolutions.

FACILITY

in this application we can measure the electrical voltage that comes from PLN into the application through a tool that is a bridge between the device and the application.

such as by protecting the battery from operating outside its safe operating area monitoring its state. calculating secondary data, reporting that data.

in this application we can control the camera in each site to monitor site in each region of Indonesia, the photos can be saved in the application.

RMS is able to monitor UPS parameter like Voltage, Output current, Power factor and etc. All generated information can be extracted out from UPS through SNMP port.

ENVIRONMENT

in this application we can measure the number of liters of a fuel tank used as fuel for a transmission studio. Liter form is then converted into a digital form into the application.



Water Level Sensors are used to detect the level of substances that can flow. Such substances include liquids, slurries, granular material and powders.

 

Temperature Sensors measure the amount of heat energy of even coldness that is generated by an object system.

 

A humidity sensor (or hygrometer) senses measures and reports both moisture and air temperature.

The door sensor is an essential component used in-home security system. The design- ing of these sensors can be done with two parts which are arranged in parallel to each other, so that the circuit can be formed.
